Two-shots at home on East Side, according to San Antonio Police

San Antonio According to San Antonio Police, two people are recovering after being shot overnight in a house on the East Side on Saturday morning.

A police officer was called to the 300 blocks of Astoria Drive at around 1:36 am after residents reported hearing two gunshots.

When they arrived, police officers found a 38-year-old woman with gunshot wounds outside the house. They also found a 41-year-old man with gunshot wounds in the hallway of his house. Neither suffered potentially life-threatening injuries.

Police said they found firearms and drugs next to the dresser where the gunshot wounded man was found after agreeing to search the house.

Police officers did not find witnesses to the shooting and the victim’s description of what happened was inconsistent.

The victim man later told the police that two strangers came to the door and shot both of them.

The investigation into the shootings was underway on Saturday.
