ISLAMABAD (Reuters) – A commercial passenger flight of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) took off from Kabul airport for Islamabad on Monday, a Reuters witness said.

The PIA flight is the first commercial passenger flight from Kabul since the completion of the withdrawal and evacuation process of foreign troops in Afghanistan. Last week the Qatari government flew citizens charter from Kabul
