BEIRUT (Reuters) – Lebanon’s designated Prime Minister Najib Mikati was on his way to a meeting with President Michel Aoun on Friday for a cabinet line-up that an official source described as “promising”.
Lebanon’s Mikati is the third prime minister to attempt to form a government with President Aun since the government resigned following a worsening economic downturn following the Beirut port explosion a year ago.
