San Antonio – A memorial and funeral plan has been announced for the Bexar County assistant who recently succumbed to COVID-19.
Deputy Ronald Butler, 56, died at a regional hospital of COVID-19 on September 3, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office. He worked for the Sheriff’s Office for nearly 31 years as a Courthouse Adjutant.
Service for Corrupt Adjutants will begin Tuesday, September 28 at 9:45 a.m., departing Mission Park North at 3401 Cherry Ridge in San Antonio.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, attendees will arrive at Community Bible Church (2477 N Loop 1604 E) at 10 a.m. and the memorial service will begin at 10:30 a.m.
The event will also be livestreamed on Facebook’s BCSO page.
Butler is survived by his wife and two children. Officials said the corrupt adjutant’s brother also worked in the sheriff’s office and was with the BCSO for 22 years.
