Canberra (Reuters) – Australia’s second most populous state said on Sunday that daily COVID-19 infections fell slightly.
The state of Victoria said it recorded 392 COVID-19 infections in the last 24 hours, slightly less than the 450 cases reported a day earlier.
The state of Victoria is struggling to contain an outbreak of the highly contagious Delta variant, despite a strict lockdown of its largest city, Melbourne.
