Sumner County, Cong. – A 55-year-old Texas woman was killed when her car rolled off a highway in south-central Kansas on Saturday afternoon.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said the accident occurred on US Highway 81 in Sumner County just before 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Vichitagal reports that after a 2008 Nissan Sentra collided with a culvert and rolled over, Irene Basquez de Salinas was trapped in a row of trees.
Vazquez de Salinas, Farr, Texas, died in an accident, but only four other people in the car were slightly injured. A 64-year-old Texas woman and two 18-year-olds driving the car were not taken to hospital after the accident.
