BERLIN (Reuters) – US technology platform ServiceNow has entered into a strategic partnership with German software company Celonis to help customers identify workflow processes that can be automated, the two companies said on Wednesday.
The partnership includes making an unspecified investment in Service Now Celonis, combining Service Now’s workflow platform with Celonis’ performance management system to process data, resolve issues, and automate decision-making.
German business software company SAP’s rival Celonis has become the most valuable startup in the country. In June, we raised $1 billion from investors with a post-financing valuation of over $11 billion.
Alexander Rinke, co-CEO, who founded Celonis with fellow students at the Technische Universitat München in 2011, told Reuters that the partner will launch the joint product in early 2022.
Service Now CEO Bill McDermott, who has led SAP for 10 years as of 2019, said he looks forward to working with Rinke.
McDermott compared the work of Celonis to X-rays that show what is broken and what needs to be replaced. “ServiceNow creates a new process based on this.”
Celonis initially developed and sold process mining software that allows customers to analyze the large amounts of data left behind by modern business operations and find ways to improve their business processes.
After acquiring Czech peer Integromat last year, it changed its brand name to a performance management platform and invested in recent funding revenue to help software make better recommendations and make better decisions. to do.
