Robinhood is going on a college tour to recruit new clients

Robinhood Markets Inc., the most popular trading app for young investors, wants its user base to be even smaller.

The digital brokerage is launching a nationwide marketing campaign on Wednesday designed to convert more college students into Robinhood customers. Robinhood will give students who trade $15 using their school email address to sign up for brokerage accounts, and enter them for $20,000 cheaper. Robinhood officials will visit community colleges and the campuses of historically black colleges and universities this fall.
