After months of rumors, some were surprised that Apple didn’t announce the AirPods 3 at this week’s California streaming iPhone 13 launch event.
But don’t worry, according to the new report. It is in production and could be here by the end of the year.
The report, provided via Digitimes, claims that the next true wireless earphones are in final design and production. The report hasn’t provided an exact release date or price for the earphones, but it’s available by the end of the year and is slightly higher than the AirPods’ current $159 / £159 / AU$229. Looks like the sticker price.
Of course, Apple hasn’t confirmed or acknowledged the rumours yet, but it seems plausible given how much we’ve heard about the future earphones.
How is AirPods 3 different?
In addition to noise reduction, the AirPods 3 could include motion sensors for fitness tracking and integration with Apple Fitness Plus, according to Bloomberg, who spoke with people familiar with the plan.
It is also expected to have a similar design to the AirPods Pro with spatial audio, better battery life support and a shorter stem.
We’re also expecting the AirPods 3 to have fully active noise-canceling capability just like the AirPods Pro, but unfortunately that doesn’t appear in any of the reports we’ve seen so far.
At this point, we’re still waiting to see what the final model will look like, but if you really care about what’s in production, it’s a matter of time before it pops up, and there’s no doubt when it will be covered. to do.
