Segin, Texas – Would you like to spend the night in a haunted house?
The Magnolia Hotel in Seguin, previously featured on the Travel Channel, is rumored to be haunted and you can stay there overnight.
The historic hotel serves as a bed and breakfast, and owners Jim and Eringdi have been working for years to bring the nearly 180-year-old hotel back to its former glory.
If you’re not interested in overnight stay options, they also offer tours of hotels that are world-renowned for their paranormal activities and unique history.
Built as a log hut in 1840 by one of the first Texas Rangers, James Campbell, Magnolia has grown into a station carriage station and a hotel over the years.
According to Erin, she believes more than 13 ghosts still lived in the hotel and was able to identify many of them.
Another claim to fame of Magnolia? Below the hotel is an old air raid shelter that also houses Seguin’s first prison.
There have been several photographs taken of people calling people ghosts and other spirits in Magnolia, which have been featured in such well-known magazines as Texas Highway, Country Living, Texas Travel Magazine, True West, Cowboy, and Indian. Growth.
