Biden's Partisan Punch at West Point

The White House this week asked Trump’s appointees to resign or be fired from the boards that oversee the military service academies, and that is President Biden’s right. But the Biden administration denies that politics has been compromised with the military, while the president now indulges in acts of petty favoritism in military education.

The Biden administration called for the resignations of more than a dozen members of the US Naval Academy, the Air Force Academy and the board of visitors at West Point. Boards are broadly similar to those of a college of trustees. Members are elected by the President, the Deputy Speaker, the Speaker of the House, or by congressional committees. Presidential nominees serve a three-year term.
