Theranos trial halted over potential juror's Covid-19 exposure

Theranos Inc. Just days after the criminal-fraud trial of founder Elizabeth Holmes, issues have cropped up with three jurors in the case overseeing a federal judge worrying whether a trial longer than three months is expected.

US District Judge Edward Davila canceled Friday’s scheduled courtroom hearing during a remote hearing held on Thursday, after a juror said he may have a COVID-19 risk and will conduct a lab test later this week. An over-the-counter test had tested negative.
