(Reuters) – Tesla announced on Saturday that it delivered 241,300 electric vehicles in the third quarter, with CEO Elon Musk calling on employees to “be super-hardcore” to reach their goals. , exceeded Wall Street estimates.

According to Refinitiv data, analysts expect electric vehicle makers to deliver 229,242 vehicles.

Tesla said it delivered 232,025 Model 3 compact cars and Model Y sports utility vehicles and 9,275 Model S and Model X cars in the quarter.

GDP in the third quarter grew by more than 15% from the previous quarter to 237,823 units.
