(Reuters) – Robinhood Markets Inc. is testing the app’s new crypto wallet and crypto transfer capabilities that will allow customers to send and receive digital currencies such as bitcoin, Bloomberg News reported on Monday.
According to the report, the beta version of the iPhone app shows the company’s commitment to such features. (https://bloom.bg/39lepB5)
The report added that there was also a hidden image showing a waiting list page for users who signed up for the crypto wallet feature.
Robin Hood did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.
Individual shareholders of the company have been waiting for a cryptocurrency wallet for a long time. A day before the brokerage firm announced its first quarter financial results last month, the biggest question was https://www.reuters.com/technology/robinhoods-shareholders-are-crypto-wallets-coming-do-we- get-hoodies-2021- Say’s 08-17, a platform that allows companies to cloudsource queries from individual investors, did the brokerage firm have such a wallet.
