How to Stream Awards Shows Without Cable

Texas News Today

The 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards begin Sunday at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.

The ceremony celebrating the best televised highlights a lot on what people have seen during the pandemic.

This year’s ceremony, hosted by Cedric the Entertainer, will take place on the LA Live event deck, not at the Microsoft Theater, where the Emmy Awards have been held since 2008. The transfer is due to the ongoing pandemic of coronavirus. LA Live’s Even Deck is a venue that provides indoor and outdoor space for television broadcasts, and also has the ability to socially distance participants.

The hottest comedies in the hottest category. In this comedy, 75% of the candidates are new in this category. These shows include “Cobra Kai,” “Emily in Paris,” “Hacked,” “Pen 15,” “Ted Lasso,” and “Flight Attendant.”

In addition, there were 44 First Performer nominations in the Lead, Support, Guest and Shortform categories.

For those who want to attend the annual awards show but don’t have cable, there are plenty of options.

The function is available for streaming:

  • stop
  • hulu with live tv
  • youtube tv
  • AT&T TV
  • sling tv
  • fubo tv
  • CBS Streaming Service Paramount+

The advertised version of CBS’s streaming service has a monthly subscription of $4.99, and an ad-free premium subscription is $9.99. The streaming service also offers a free trial.

This year’s red carpet will be smaller than last year’s, with only 500 guests attending the ceremony in Los Angeles compared to last year’s thousands.

The show also includes several satellite programs that television broadcasts cut as needed. The cast and producers of the Netflix show The Crown are hosting their own Emmy Awards ceremony in London, as did the team behind Shit’s Creek on last year’s television broadcast. Other shows include “Top Chef” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live” with video conferencing at the ceremony.

The participants will follow strict COVID-19 protocols throughout the ceremony, which mimics the safety measures implemented on Hollywood sets. This includes testing all participants, requesting vaccinations, and ensuring that everyone is wearing a mask when not using the camera.

These missions are similar to those implemented in the last award ceremony last year.
