HONG KONG (Reuters) – Citigroup has appointed William Pan to head the Natural Resources and Clean Energy Transition (NRCET) investment banking division in Asia, according to a banking statement.
According to the statement, Pan joined Citi in 2015 and will continue to lead the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank.

Citi’s three banking groups, chemicals, energy and electricity, have been integrated as part of a push to expand the scope of the bank’s environmental sustainability.
Pang City will report to Jan Metzger, Head of Banking, Capital Markets and Advisory for Asia Pacific, and will report to Stephen Truber and Sandeep Sen, Co-Head of NRCET.
“The transition to clean energy is progressing rapidly and is a global supertrend that has been ongoing for decades,” Metsger said in a statement.
